Here a brewery, there a brewery, everywhere a farm brewery
The Cuomo admin reported this week that there are now 104 "farm" breweries in the New York State -- and 43 of them opened over the last year (here's the list of new breweries -- three of them are in Albany County). The farm brewery license allows craft brewers to avoid certain fees and taxes -- if they use a certain percentage of New York-grown ingredients.
