NYC's experience with new bike lanes
Interesting in light of the Madison Ave Road Diet in Albany: Over at NY Mag, former NYC transportation commissioner Janette Sadik-Khan writes about that city's bike lane building boom (that includes protected lanes) -- and the initial backlash it experienced. But as she concludes: "Call me biased, call me crazy -- many people have -- but I'll tell you this: The bikes, and all New Yorkers, won." [NY Mag]
