An exchange with Albany Archives this morning reminded us of this post from last summer about the early heyday of bikes in the Albany area a century ago. It was a fun topic to research, and we'd figured it might be of interest again in light of the selection of a plan for the Madison Ave Road Diet and its inclusion of bike lanes.
