Cougar or big house cat?
The Adirondack Almanack reports a trail camera in Crown Point recently captured video of what looks an awful lot like a mountain lion/cougar. Apparently DEC has been out to the site and is investigating.
The official line on mountains lions in this part of the country is that there's no native, self-sustaining population. But there are lot of stories of people who say they've seen one... [Adirondack Almanack] (Thanks, Duncan)

That janky video could show a house cat or Sasquatch crawling on his hands and knees looking for a lost contact lens.

How can anyone possibly believe there are mountain lions/cougars left near Crown Point? It's a well-known fact they're the favorite snack of Champ, Lake Champlain's lake monster.
