Not homeowners (yet?)
A link sort-of follow-up to the recent post about the apartment building boom in the Albany area... An analysis of Census data by Fannie Mae released this week reported that the homeownership rate of households headed by people ages 25-34 was almost 10 percentage points lower in 2014 compared to 2006 (before the housing bust and recession). Though there are some indications that this group of people is now catching up a bit to previous generations. [Fannie Mae] [via @crampell]
