Traditional cities
Over at the Congress for the New Urbanism publication Public Square, there's a look at how "traditional" cities (like so many here in the Northeast) have fared over the last decade in terms of population. It doesn't touch on this area -- the cities here aren't big enough -- but it does include a bunch of bits about the things that do get discussed here often about revitalization urban areas, gentrification, and sprawl. (Also, there are a few interesting bits about Buffalo and Rochester.) [CNU] (Thanks, D) Earlier: A quick look at city and town population changes
