Over at NY Mag's Select All, Jake Swearingen breaks down the recent NYS Attorney General's Office lawsuit against Time Warner Cable alleging the company defrauded customers over internet speeds. He writes: "I'd say the state is accusing Time Warner Cable less of 'ripping off' customers and more of 'pissing on New Yorkers' heads and telling them it's raining.'" Of course, TWC is now owned by Charter and is transitioning to the name "Spectrum" -- and Charter promised as part of the deal that it would be upgrading speeds.
