Death Wish Coffee... in spaaaaace
Noted: There's now Death Wish Coffee in space.
The Round Lake-based coffee company produced packets of its "world's strongest coffee" for the residents of the International Space Station. And the coffee arrived there yesterday aboard a cargo capsule launched by SpaceX.
The coffee delivery grew out of a company podcast conversation with a retired NASA astronaut. And Death Wish then worked with the NASA Food Lab to create an instant version of its coffee. (It's basically brewed, concentrated, and freeze dried.)
So, now that the coffee has arrived at the space station, Death Wish is touting itself as "the strongest coffee in the galaxy." It's a bold statement given the size of the Milky Way (with sugar?). But maybe over caffeination is the Great Filter.
Say Something!
We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
