Figuring the risks of a tick bite

This NPR story helpfully walks through some of the risk of factors for being infected with Lyme via a tick bite -- including factors such as the species of tick, where it was picked up, and how long it's been attached. (Also: There's a free "tick encounter resource center" at the University of Rhode Island for connecting members of the public with experts.) [NPR] [via @juadams]
