Stuff to do this weekend

It's damn near perfect outside, so step away from your computer and get out and do something. Go. Now. We'll be here when you get back.

Need some ideas?

dog_in_gallery_window_closer.jpgTroy's River Street Festival
Crafts, food, antiques, music and stuff for the kids from 10-6 Saturday in downtown Troy.

Meet Mame and the girls
The Saturday screenings of "Sittin' on a Million" the documentary about Mame Faye, the infamous Madam of Troy sold out quickly, but you can still get a seat for the Sunday matinee at The Sanctuary for Independent Media. A $10 donation is suggested. $5 dollars for seniors and low income.

Saratoga Arts Fest
The weekend-long celebration of the arts includes dance, theater, film, music, visual arts and readings.

Go to Hudson
It's a quick trip to a cool place. Check out the shops, look for the gallery dog at The Stair, tour the opera house and try the duck confit panino at Swoon.

Check out Crisan
Everybody's talking about this fabulous new bakery on Lark Street. And hey, you can get gelato for a buck.

So, what's your plan?

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

What's All Over Albany?

All Over Albany is for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. In other words, it's for you. It's kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who can help you find out what's up. Oh, and our friends call us AOA.
