Recommended mechanics listing and map

AOA mechanic map

There were suggestions from all over the Capital Region

People posted a lot of good suggestions to last week's car mechanic question. There were so many good suggestions that we decided to collect them all in an easy-to-skim listing/map. Check it out -- if there's a way we can make it better, please share.

Thanks to everyone who posted a suggestion. And watch out for potholes.

Another vote for Kiskis...my brakes were worn, but since Kiskis had installed them, they replaced them for free as they should not have worn out that quickly. My husband had a nail in a tire causing a slow leak..most of the chains would have sold him a new tire (his car is less than a year old and very low mileage). Kiskis repaired the tire, cleaned all the tires and charged him a minimal amount. The customer service is the best, very friendly, polite and courteous.

Hey you put my guys on the front page! Well chosen indeed. And you reminded me that I need to bring my car in for service. This is why I love AOA.

My recommendation didn't make it to the map :( I even posted a map link :D

Speak to John or his son Sean. As I said in the last thread, their garage is the most honest, reasonable and friendly place I know.

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
