More to love

We saw Brad Shear from the Mohawk and Hudson River Humane Society this afternoon and he said the Flabby Tabby is now up for adoption -- and a bunch of people have inquired about giving him a home. There are more details about the Flab Tab in Paul Grondahl's story today, among them: the cat actually tips the scales at 36 pounds. Update: He's been adopted -- to a family that's going to put him on a diet. [WTEN] [CBS6] Earlier on AOA: The Secret Photostream of the Flabby Tabby

A little perspective.. my two year old son could hold our pet kitty, and their combined weight still wouldn't equal this fat cat. That's astonishing.

what the hell are people doing picking up cats they're "certain belongs to someone" and kidnapping them to drop off at shelters?? i've had cats all my life until recently, but i'm seriously afraid to get a cat in any of our metro areas for fear that as soon as i let it outside to take a piss, someone's going to snatch it and bring it to a shelter.

The Scoop
