Krazy for Kosciuszko
In Wisconsin, they don't name bridges for Thaddeus Kosciusko -- instead they tag his name to elementary schools and walkathons, thus creating nostalgia and irony arbitrage opportunities for coastal hipsters. Considering Teddy K's engineering skills, a bridge still seems most appropriate to us -- but schools rank above mustard. Hipster apparel falls somewhere after that. [Slate] (Thanks, Amy!)

Did Thaddeus ever design a breastworks in Wisconsin, like he did on Peebles Island? Didn't think so.
