City crime rankings

Colonie has dropped to #14 in the CQ Press city crime rate rankings (of cities with population 75k or more) -- it had been #7 last year, and topped the rankings released in 2010 and 2009. Albany ranked #313, down from #295 the year before. Driving down the rankings in both municipalities, say police chiefs to the TU: property crimes. (As touched on last year, these rankings have critics.)
