How do you gift wrap time?

Gifts and giving are on most everyone's mind this month. So we thought we'd ask a few people to share some thoughts on presents, past and present.

Brandon Jones is a musical theater teacher and performer from Albany. He's performed locally and in New York City and is currently the music director for Schenectady Light Opera's production of Shrek: The Musical.

What gift would you like to receive this season?

The gift I would like to receive this year would be my very own cast iron skillet. I'm not a person who likes getting a lot of gifts for Christmas, I prefer giving them, but I really need one of those.

What gift would you like to give?

The gift I would like to give is time. Time for my friends and family and others who need me. I am often very busy doing this or that. Time is the one thing that I would like to gift wrap for Christmas.

What charity would you like to support?

As far as charities, I would very much like to support those who are homeless. It has always been very close to my heart, and would like to donate my time and energy getting people off of the street.

What was your most memorable holiday gift from childhood?

My most memorable gift, was getting the entire He-Man collection. I must have been about 5 years old. My brother got all of the good guys, and I got all of the bad. Which are always my favorite!

Albany tightened its rules for shoveling snowy sidewalks last winter -- so how'd that work out?
