The week in concentrated form

The rhetorical smackdown, the Rachael, the tulips, the cheesecake

Here are a few highlights from the past week on AOA:

+ The Capital Region ranks 5th among New York cities for car thefts, but at least we're not Buffalo.

+ "The Rachael" made its debut. Finally, hard-working TV chefs who are always on their feet can have stylish footwear.

+ We blew out our calorie budget at Cheesecake Machismo.

+ The Ultimate Fighting Championship unleashed some killer rhetorical moves at the capitol.

+ Dr. Z gave us the scoop on how to set a giant, floating, metal tulip on fire.

+ We figured out how many times you could paper over the track at Saratoga with paper from city hall.

+ If you're neurotic, congratulations! You've found the right spot.

+ There's so much to know about tulips, including the fact that you can eat them -- which is not to say that you should.

If you'd just like the whole week unfiltered, check our listing of the last seven days of AOA.

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

What's All Over Albany?

All Over Albany is for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. In other words, it's for you. It's kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who can help you find out what's up. Oh, and our friends call us AOA.
