A quick recap of the week

week review

Here are a few highlights from the past week on AOA:

+ We went looking for some good wines for Passover.

+ Amy got the scoop on Lark Street's EB Essentials.

+ Call it a comeback for Eliot Spitzer.

+ You could have your wedding at a Stewart's.

+ Kim's stylish apartment was featured on Apartment Therapy.

+ Jess told us about local food photographer Tomas Malave.

+ Amy found chocolate covered potato chips at Isn't It Sweet in Albany.

+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: whipped cream, voice mail limbo, classy stuff, bus drivers, sushi, lemurs and Girl Scout cookies.

+ Amy came across some very "tired" bags.

+ We looked up the numbers to see how local colleges stack up on cost.

+ Laura got a great haircut -- for cheap -- at Mirror Images. She had to sit next to a severed head, though.

+ This isn't going to help your supermarket envy.

+ A few of the items on Craigslist this week: tarantulas, hardware store guys, beautiful birds on the bus, hospital food and a random act of kindness.

+ Jess got the story on the Troy Book Makers.

+ The Schenectady PD started publicizing its mugshots on Twitter.

+ And maybe you know a local business that would be interested in advertising on AOA.

If you'd just like the whole week unfiltered, check our listing of the last seven days of AOA.

Thanks to everyone who posted a comment or sent along an idea this week!

Eliot Spitzer was on All Things Considered last night, too.

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

What's All Over Albany?

All Over Albany is for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. In other words, it's for you. It's kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who can help you find out what's up. Oh, and our friends call us AOA.
