A quick recap of the week

week review 2009-05-30

Here are a few highlights from the past week on AOA:

+ Jess told us about the Ravena Barn Flea Market.

+ Billy Fuccillo inspired a local pizza shop to be HUMONGOUS!

+ Eat this: grab and go Asian food at EATS.

+ We talked with local filmmaker Justin Maine, one of the people who created the green biz documentary So Right, So Smart.

+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: same-sex marriage, The Tuna, maturity, tramps, inspiration, employment, dumplings, vintage beer and competitive eating.

+ The Newspaper Guild is urging people to cancel the TU -- and people had a lot to say about that.

+ A few of the items found on Craigslist this week: a proven stud, a lady who knows how to park, interesting bakeware, a multi-purpose couch, and a vintage Elvis decanter/music box.

+ Amy found a gift that keeps on giving at Faddegon's Nursery.

+ Three new local blogs that are worth checking out.

+ Dawn went on an LL Bean "walk-on adventure."

+ And Albany is going to be buzzed next week.

If you'd just like the whole week unfiltered, check our listing of the last seven days of AOA.

Thanks to everyone who posted a comment or sent along an idea this week!

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

What's All Over Albany?

All Over Albany is for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. In other words, it's for you. It's kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who can help you find out what's up. Oh, and our friends call us AOA.
