A quick recap of the week

week review

Here are a few highlights from the past week on AOA:

+ The B3nson foks released a great music compilation for LarkFest.

+ People waited four hours for their 15 minutes.

+ The election mailer avalanche continued.

+ We started preparations for this year's Tournament of Pizza.

+ Sebastien got a of photo of a little toot.

+ Clyde was found!

+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: the official line, merging, bums, corn, Pakistani Chinese food, the Sake Cafe, local pasta sauce, a major score, Yaddo, breast feeding, embarrassment, Michael Jordan, the local dialect, and words that should never be uttered on a first date.

+ We can only hope that Dan Nester's thighs are decompressing.

+ A few of the items found on Craigslist this week: hipsters in search of their animal spirit guides, a hoped-for Tilapia survey, happy piglets, a two-pack of llamas and Mr. Yummy.

+ The City of Albany launched an online sex offender map.

+ Sabrina told us about that Indian spice shop on Fuller Road in Colonie.

+ Dawn visited the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art.

+ Here are the street closings for that Will Ferrell movie shoot in downtown Albany.

+ There's an AOA discount for tickets to that Richard Florida talk at the Palace.

+ And two words: baby turtles.

If you'd just like the whole week unfiltered, check our listing of the last seven days of AOA.

Thanks to everyone who posted a comment or sent along a photo or idea this week!

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
