Zombie Film Feast
Friday and Saturday: The annual Zombie Film Feast returns to Proctors this weekend. There'a a "Descent Into Hell Zombie Prom" Friday night (8 pm - $10, 21 and over). And on Saturday is the film fest of zombie movies, in two blocks -- 11 am-5:30 pm and 5:30 pm-midnight ($15 for one block or $25 for both).
The Albany Cup
UAlbany and Siena will renew their rivalry at the TU Center Friday. Both the Great Danes men's and women's teams are coming off a season in which they went to the NCAA tournament -- and the Saints men have a new coach: Jimmy Patsos.
The women's game starts at 5 pm Friday, the men at 7 pm. Tickets are $16 and up.
Hockey
+ Union plays Colgate on Friday and Cornell on Saturday. Both games are at 7 pm.
+ RPI hosts Cornell on Friday and Colgate on Saturday. Both games start at 7 pm.
+ The Albany Devils take on the Adirondack Phantoms on Saturday at the TU Center at 5 pm. On Monday the Devils take on Bridgeport at 2 pm.
Roller Derby
Hellions of Troy Roller Derby take on the Jersey Shore on Saturday night at Rollarama. Doors open at 7pm, bout starts at 8pm - $10, $12 at the door, $3 under 12.
Albany Comic Con
Sunday: The Albany Comic Con is coming to the Holiday Inn on Wolf Road. Comic book artists, vendors, panels, an auction and a costume contest. Sunday 10 am to Tickets are $5 and can be purchased online or at the door.
Veteran's Day Parade
On Monday Albany pays tribute to Capital Region veterans with a parade down Central and Washington avenues. The parade starts at 11:11 am.

Friday: Comedian Anthony Jeselnik will be at The Egg. 7:30 pm - $27.50
Bill Maher
Sunday: Comedian Bill Maher will be at The Palace for a standup show. 8 pm - $39.50 and up
Film
Russian Ark
The NYS Writers Institute's Classic Film Series continues with Russian Ark, a tour of three hundred years of Russian history that includes the single longest continuous shot in motion picture history, 2000 actors, and three live orchestras. Friday at 7:30 pm - free
Some Like It Hot
This week's Movies and Mimosa classic at The Bow Tie Cinema in Saratoga Springs is Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis and Marilyn Monroe in Some Like it Hot. Saturday and Sunday at 11am

The Ballston Spa Film Festival's monthly classic festival is screening E.T. Saturday night at the Ballston Spa High School. 6:45 pm - free
The Spectacular Now
The Saratoga Film Forum is screening The Spectacular Now this weekend. This film, about an unexpected teen romance, has been compared to Say Anything and The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Friday 7:30 pm, Sunday 3 pm
Revisionaries
Saturday: The Arts Center of the Capital Region continues its Revisionaries series. The theme of this episode of the series, curated by 99 Hooker and Bro. Russel Scholl, is "Re-MixALot" and it samples a wealth of mashed-up media. The program concludes with a live remix of the evening's content. Saturday, doors open at 7pm, show at 7:30 pm - $10, price includes one drink
The Rolling Stones: Sweet Summer Sun
Proctors is screening the 2013 Rolling Stones Hyde Park concert on the big screen in the GE Theater. Friday 7:30 pm - $10
Hamlet
The Spectrum is screening a filmed version of the National Theater of London's 2010 production of Hamlet. Sunday at noon and Monday at 7 pm. Adult $15 /under 12, $12

Night, Mother
Marsha Norman's powerful, award-winning play Night, Mother opens on Friday at Albany Civic Theater. Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm, Sunday at 3 pm.
Inherit the Wind
Classic Theater Guild presents Inherit the Wind -- the fictionalized version of the Scopes "monkey" trial -- at the Proctors Fenimore Theater this weekend. Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm, Sunday at 2pm - $18.50, $15.50 students/seniors
Abigail 1702
Curtain Call Theatre presents Abigail 1702 -- a look at what happened to Abigail Williams ten years after The Crucible. Friday and Saturday at 8 pm, Sunday at 3 pm - $23
Broadway Rewind
This production, at the Saratoga Arts, is really more concert than theater. A cast of talented actors and singers play roles and sing songs that were originally intended for the opposite gender. Saturday 8 pm - $20

Museums
Super Science Weekend
MiSci (The Museum of Innovation and Science) is holding a three-day Super Science Weekend over the Veterans Day Holiday weekend. Demonstrations in nanotechnology, chemistry, robotics, live birds, a giant bubble hoist, robotics scrimmages, and more. Saturday, 9am to 5pm, Sunday noon to 5pm, Veterans Day, 9am to 5pm.
Albany Institute's Mummy Birthday / Free Monday
Sunday is the 104th anniversary party celebrating the mummies arrival at the Albany Institute of History and Art, and the institute is celebrating with a family festival including face painting, activities and cookies and cupcakes from Crisan. Noon to 5pm Sunday
Also, on the Veteran's Day holiday on Monday, you can check out the museum free of charge.
Red, White & Chocolate Fundraiser Casino Night Gala
The Boys and Girls Club of Albany is hosting a Red, White and Chocolate Gala and Casino Night in the terrace gallery at the New York State Museum. Friday 5:30 pm - tickets $80 / $60 under $35
Homebrewing clinic
The Tech Valley Center of Gravity in Troy, is hosting a home brewing clinic on Friday at 7 pm. You need to register ahead of time. Materials fee is $5
Farmers' markets
The farmers markets have moved indoors. Markets are open in Troy (Saturday at the Atrium), Saratoga (Saturday at the Lincoln Baths in Spa State Park), Schenectady (Sunday at Proctors), and the Spa City Farmers Market -- at the Lincoln Baths in Saratoga Springs (Sunday at the Lincoln Baths).
