A quick recap of the week

week review 2015-07-14

Here are a few highlights from the past week on AOA:

+ We gave away a big basket of summer-themed prizes by asking: What is your favorite summer memory? There were a lot of great answers.

+ We asked a bunch of people about how they'd spend a "stolen" summer day.

+ That same question, but specifically about food.

+ And that same question against, but about outdoor activities.

+ Christine asked about where to get freshly-made tortillas.

+ How many of these sample questions from the state's 8th grade math test can you answer?

+ There's another upscale burger place in the Capital Region.

+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: the middle school lunch room, winning photos, beautiful views, the Santanoni Preserve, a milkweed murder mystery, paperwork, Track season, farmers' market skepticism, unusual soft serve, charred pizza, the Tour de Italian Deli, a very old computer, and learning to stop over planning.

+ And what direction should the Central Ave corridor in Albany take?

Thanks to everyone who posted a comment or shared an idea or photo this week!

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

What's All Over Albany?

All Over Albany is for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. In other words, it's for you. It's kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who can help you find out what's up. Oh, and our friends call us AOA.
