A quick recap of the week

Here are a few highlights from the past holiday week on AOA:

+ Greg Kern, the pastry chef at Peck's Arcade, shared with us his pics and thoughts from trying out that 19th century recipe for Albany Cake.

+ Here's a list of holiday markets around the Capital Region.

+ Mike asked about where to get car upholstery fixed.

+ Another batch of renderings for ESP designs that didn't quite happen.

+ Deanna stopped into the French Press Cafe in downtown Albany for crepes.

+ And what was up in the Neighborhood this week: Bob & Ron's, local icons, a choice facing Albany, close calls, Albany media then, Moreau Lake, a bar tab, sushi, the Gateway, fast food, pizza, a found couch, and going around and around.

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
