PostSecret: The Show
Friday-Sunday: Proctors hosts PostSecret: The Show -- a stage show based on the popular web project. Blurbage:

With original music, recorded voices, projected images, and video, PostSecret: The Show becomes an immersive experience as three actors guide the audience through a crowd-sourced narrative of the stories behind some of the most sexual, sad, funny and controversial - many of which have never been seen before.

Troy Night Out
Friday: The first Troy Night Out of the year. A few things happening:

+ A series of staged readings of new plays at the Arts Center of the Capital Region.
+ The Photography Center of the Capital District hosts the opening reception of the Photo Regional Salon exhibit, in conjunction with Fulton Street Gallery.
+ Sage College is celebrating 100 years with cupcakes and hot chocolate in Bush Memorial Center on the Russell Sage campus and the lighting of the Sage campus to green

Naked Influence
Friday-Sunday: Capital Rep continues its production of Naked Influence, a new play by Suzanne Bradbeer. Blurbage:

A dancer's past. A woman's future. The seductive and lucrative world of strip clubs sets the stage for this spellbinding tale about a charismatic exotic dancer who finds herself engulfed in a doomed relationship with a congressman. My Big Fat Dysfunctional Life
Saturday: Actors Joe Moffa and Eric Targtaglione are at The State Room in Albany this weekend with their show My Big Fat Dysfunctional Life. Moffat and Targtaglione are the team behind the award winning Off-Broadway show Shut Up, Sit Down and Eat. They're touring with this new act in which they "share stories of life's dysfunctions 'Italian Style." Saturday at 8 pm (dinner at 6:30 pm) - $20 / $69 with dinner

Eyes on Zora
Friday: The NYS Writers Institute visiting writers series opens its spring schedule with a screening of Their Eyes Were Watching God, based on the novel by Zora Neale Hurston. Chili Bowl Fundraiser
Saturday: The Saratoga Clay Arts Center in Schuylerville hosts its 5th annual Chili Bowl fundraiser to fight breast cancer. Pick one of 1,000 bowls made by local artists, donate $15, have some chili, keep the bowl. Saturday 11 am to 4 pm - $15

A Taste of Upstate New York
Saturday: The Mabee Farm Historic Site continues its L:ocal Eats: Food, Culture, and Tradition exhibit series with author Chuck D'Imperio for a presentation based on his book A Taste of Upstate New York. . "After a year of eating his way across Upstate New York seeking out the stories of so many iconic foods, Chuck D'Imperio now shares the stories of dishes we have come to love! Wild Game Night

Albany Devils
Friday: The Albany Devils face off against Utica at the TU Center. Friday 7 pm - $16 and up

Museums
Winter weekends are great times to wander through one of the Capital Region's museums.

+ Saturday is the annual free day at MASS MoCA. Admission is free from 11 am-7 pm, and there will be performances, tours, and other activities.

+ The Hyde Collection in Glens Falls recently opened Norman Rockwell in the 1960s, featuring 21 illustrations and original magazine covers "created by the beloved artist during a decade of change and turmoil." (And while you're there, here are some fun places to eat in Glens Falls.)

+ If you're interested in more Norman Rockwell, you can head over to Stockbridge for the Norman Rockwell Museum.

+ You can check out the Masterworks: 225 Years of Collecting exhibit at the Albany Institute. And there'a also The Capital Region in 50 Objects exhibit.

+ The Clark has a good permanent collection, and there's currently an exhibit about how works have been added to it.

+ If you're up a for a bit of trip, you can head to Beacon and Dia:Beacon.

Skating
There are a bunch of places around the Capital Region for ice skating, both outside and inside -- we recently updated our listing and map of ice skating spots.

Stop by a farmers market for something local and delicious:
+ Troy Waterfront Farmers Market is inside the Atrium. Saturday 9 am-2 pm
+ The Saratoga Farmers' Market is indoors at the Lincoln Baths. Saturday from 9 am-1 pm
+ The Schenectady Greenmarket is at its indoor location at Proctors. Sunday from 10 am-2 pm.
+ The Spa City Farmers' Market is inside at the Lincoln Baths Sunday from 10 am-3 pm
