Stuff to do this weekend

ESP 4th of July Fireworks

The Fourth of July is Monday and that, of course, means fireworks at the ESP. / photo: Bennett Campbell

"How does a ragtag volunteer army in need of a shower
Somehow defeat a global superpower?
How do we emerge victorious from the quagmire?
Leave the battlefield waving Betsy Ross' flag higher?"

After the jump, a three-day, Independence Day weekend's worth of stuff to do: fireworks, festivals, steamboats, concerts, ball games and more.

Planning something you don't see here? Share it with the rest of us in the comments.

And whatever you're up to, have a fantastic weekend.
