A quick recap of the week

week review 2017-02-25

Here are a few highlights from the past short week on AOA:

+ M. asked about finding a progressive, friendly, diverse church in Albany.

+ Deanna marked the cinnamon buns at Fifth Tier Baking Studio as a new downtown Albany classic.

+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: the Tour de Wing, mac-n-cheese, Sunhee's, barbecued frankfurters, Valentine's Day, Susan B. Anthony in jail, growing Troy, consumption, snowshoeing, winter weekends, the photo regional, the new dog, and doing your job.

+ The proposed Albany-Rensselaer gondola got Sandy thinking about how the choices we make for things like train stations and roads have long lasting consequences.

+ We heard from the owner of Brew in Albany about why they're expanding to Saratoga.

+ AH asked about finding a progressive, warm, and vibrant Jewish congregation.

+ And we had the warmest winter day on record.

Here's the whole week in one place.

Thanks to everyone who posted a comment or shared an idea this week!

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
