Comments

Actually, the Rocking to Rebuild Tess' Lark Tavern benefit at the Washington Park Lakehouse on Saturday has been scaled back a bit. It will now take place from 3-8pm.

There's also an after-benefit benefit for Tess at the Marketplace Gallery (40 Broadway, Albany) 6-11pm Saturday with live music, poets and a silent art auction.

One more thing about the Tess' benefit at the Washington Park Lakehouse at 3pm Saturday - admission is now a $25 donation, which includes beer, wine.

You may want to double check on this, but sadly I think that Olana is one of those that got the ax along with a couple of other State Park and Historic Sites last week.
Editors: We checked first. It's still open. But thanks!

I have to stress the importance of going to the Belly Dance Party at the Arts Center on Saturday. Belly dancers + beer + baklava = the best Saturday night ever.

The Rock and Run in Saratoga is on Sunday morning, not Saturday.

Duchess and the Afrodub Rebels and special guests A Sound Decision and Funkin' A are playing tonight at the Dublin Underground (Formerly Savannah's) -- $5, 9pm. Get your funk on. :)

There is also going to be an amazing NOLA-style 2nd Line parade next weekend in Troy featuring many local musicians and the members of the Dub Rebels... I'll post about that in your next week Stuff to Do post. :)

This weekend the Central Ave Farmers Market returns to the WAMC parking lot, from 9 to 1 p.m. No need to go all the way to Troy for fresh veggies!

Is anybody watching LOST on Sunday?

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
