Last weekend to catch critically-acclaimed "Proof" at Albany Civic Theater - call ahead for reservations, though. We sold out last weekend and had to sadly turn away some patrons.

I thought the NYS Museum is closed on Sundays.

Nevermind, I see it is open specifically for this event.

Spectrum King Lear is at Noon, not 2pm. Should be awesome! The Hamlet they showed was amazing.

According to a facebook invite I got, Mirk will be at the Pearl Street Pub tonight, not St. Rose. Now I'm all confused!

Solidarity rally in support of Wisconsin public employees --noon Saturday at the Capitol. (Then go to the State Museum for New York in Bloom and the Gem & Mineral Show.)

New York in Bloom should never get billed above the Rock and Mineral show. NEVER!

FYI - Lear was sold out when I got there at 11:30 AM. 2 more chances to see it - Monday and next Sunday. Recommend getting your ticket in advance.

Nice to see Albany so into murdering, bad parenting, eye-gouging, mind-losing, storm-tossing action with a bitch factor so high Joan Rivers would be leaning on a wall fanning herself. Not to mention sex and fools. Shakespeare goodness!

Got my ticket for next Sunday and looking forward to it!

The Scoop
