A quick recap of the week

week review 2013-02-16

Here are a few highlights from the past week on AOA:

+ We gave away tickets to the SPAC Winter Ball by asking: What's the biggest thing in the Capital Region?

+ Daniel stopped by the new Fin fishmonger shop in Guilderland to talk with the owners about how they source their seafood.

+ Sometimes buildings just really look like what they are.

+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: a grim reminder, a church brewery, snowy effects, a good time to visit the Capitol, pet policy, kicking it old school, Restaurant Depot, lunch at the Illium, a slice of Valentine's Day weirdness, winter beer at the Lionheart, best of picks, hot yoga, badminton, and pencils.

+ We took a look at income distribution in the Capital Region.

+ The Solid Sound Festival lineup is looking pretty good.

+ A few of the items found on Craigslist this week: a co-op pickup line, hitting on the person who hit you, ticklers of the Capital Region, a carousel horse.

+ We baked up a fluffy infographic for Valentine's Day.

+ And we asked people what they'd like AOA to be in the future. Thank you for all the suggestions.

Thanks to everyone who posted a comment or shared an idea or photo this week!

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
