A quick recap of the week

week review 2015-10-02

Here are a few highlights from the past week on AOA:

+ The AOA Bad Boys, Broads, and Bootleggers Tour is returning later this month -- and it's already sold out.

+ Deanna shared some ideas for using up all those apples you've picked.

+ We scanned through the list of the Capital Region Economic Development Council's priority projects for 2016 -- which includes residential conversion project in Troy, a food court for Albany's Warehouse District, and goats.

+ Deanna praised the Polish food at Muza.

+ The 2015-2016 slate for the Palace movie series is out.

+ We gave away a prize basket to the Local Harvest Festival by asking: What's your favorite apple?

+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: cider donuts, people who talk during movies, the Adirondacks, New Hampshire, Round Lake, the Albany History Race, the old Schaefer Brewery, steak on a stone, brunch, becoming a restaurant owner, falafel tacos, curling season, and the blood moon eclipse.

+ Julie suggested some good places for a fall hike, along with where to eat after.

+ And we got together with a bunch of people at Nine Pin Cider Works for a cider and cheese pairing. Thanks to everyone who joined us!

Thanks to everyone who posted a comment or shared an idea this week!

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
