A quick recap of the week

week review 2016-04-15

Here are a few highlights from the past week on AOA:

+ We talked with people about why they turned out for the Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump rallies in Albany.

+ Cristin vegged out at Van's in Albany.

+ A Friend asked about they could get some friends who recently had a baby in order to help make life easier.

+ We gave away tickets to see Alton Brown at Proctors by asking: What's something local that you're looking forward to eating this spring or summer?

+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: presidential candidates, volunteering, a fire tower, wildflowers, carjacking and defenestration, the Church of the Holy Innocents, career thoughts, disappointment, Cooper's Cave Ale Company, Radio Bars, wings, bagels, bad chain restaurants, Tuscany, Moveable Feast, tomato soup cake, photos, and gathering 'round the hearth.

+ Here's a bunch of gardening classes that are coming up over the next few weeks.

+ We tried to get a better sense of New York's upcoming minimum wage increases.

+ Julie highlighted sculpture parks that day trip-able from the Capital Region.

+ And here are a bunch of photos from AOA8. Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us!

Here's the whole week in one place.

Thanks to everyone who posted a comment or shared an idea this week!

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

What's All Over Albany?

All Over Albany is for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. In other words, it's for you. It's kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who can help you find out what's up. Oh, and our friends call us AOA.
