A quick recap of the week

week review

Here are a few highlights from the past week on AOA:

+ Could things get much worse for David Paterson? Oh, wait.

+ The idea of martial law in Schenectady stirred some people up online.

+ St. Rose has a very tiny truck.

+ Amy tried on the hats at Soave Faire in Saratoga.

+ Have you seen these gnomes?

+ As Laura pointed out, a dollar goes a lot farther than you might think.

+ Jess checked out the just-opened New World Bistro Bar in Albany.

+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: architecture, grade school speakeasies, foodie relationships, Wegmans, pork belly and killer showers.

+ The tall pink bike went missing -- and then it was found.

+ Jess shared her obsession with 99¢ City.

+ A few of the items this week on Craigslist: plane tickets to Paris, wobbling parrots, arresting eyes and, um, used underthings.

+ The "dump tax" is not real. (Though if the state budget gap keeps growing...)

+ Scanning the seemingly never ending special election not once, but twice.

+ It's an igloo... with wheels.

Comments

It's been several weeks since you had Ellis/Morris question submitals. Where's the follow up to all the questions?

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

What's All Over Albany?

All Over Albany is for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. In other words, it's for you. It's kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who can help you find out what's up. Oh, and our friends call us AOA.
