A quick recap of the week
Here are a few highlights from the past week on AOA:
+ We pulled together a list of potentially fun/interesting/noteworthy upcoming concerts for the next few months.
+ Speaking of concerts -- Wilco's playing two of them in the area this summer.
+ Daniel says the croissant at Mrs. London's is decadent -- which is exactly the point.
+ The music lineup and schedule for Tulip Festival is out. There was some grumbling -- and applauding.
+ That, uh, rather precocious Albany 12-year-old has been accused of being involved in with another stolen car.
+ Kelly asked about finding a good real estate -- there were a bunch of suggestions and some good advice.
+ There's a new arts/crafts/vintage/what-not market coming to Troy this summer.
+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: cutting through bone, a parent's job, exploration, Vroman's nose, Capital District geology, wildflowers, bursting bubbles, the Canfield Casino, that elegant chapeau, a mini food tour, Carmine's Brazilian Grill, two new spots, ramps, and light bulbs.
+ The state's teen birth rate continues to drop.
+ A few of the items found on Craigslist this week: hot mispronunciations, a debate challenge, a "rare Soviet era bike," and raw goat fleece.
+ The tulips are arriving.
+ The large-scale reconfiguration of the busy Washington Ave Ext/Fuller Road intersection is starting -- the renderings of the planned final product prompted discussion about how bike and pedestrian friendly it will be.
+ We ran a few numbers to see what sorts of deal people might have gotten at the state's surplus car auction.
+ And we're now accepting applications for this year's AOA Sunmark Startup Grant -- one good local idea is going to get a $1,500 push.

Say Something!
We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
