Stuff to do this weekend

river festival chalk 2010

Chalk drawings from the River Street Festival competition

The rest of the weekend will look just like today -- the kind of day you want to bottle and open up in February. But that doesn't work. We tried it. We were disappointed.

So don't waste the weather while it's here. After the jump, some things you might want to try. Got plans that aren't listed here? Share them with the group.

And, as always, have a fantastic weekend!

Comments

Stick around after River St. Festival in Troy. Conehead Buddha will be playing outside of Bootlegger's on Broadway Saturday night from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. That was THE band when I was in High School. Now they're reunited again.

GAS UP in Schoharie on Saturday and Sunday - http://www.thegasup.org/

don't know if there's an admission price, but if you're a crazy (or sane) dog person there are agility competitions at the Altamont Fair Grounds the whole weekend...http://www.cpenationals2012ny.com/

King Lear at Shakespeare & Co in Lennox, MA!

Don't forget strawberry picking this weekend. With all this hot sunny weather the local berries are now at peak flavor.

I would love to do the sidewalk drawing again this year, but I have a big baby bump that gets in the way of all of that stretching across a sidewalk rectangle! Maybe next year!
