A quick recap of the week

Here are a few highlights from the past week on AOA:

+ UAlbany -- both men's and women's team -- was headed to the NCAA tournament. The women's team put a great fight against Duke before coming up just short. The men's team faces Oklahoma Friday night -- we took a look at the Great Danes' chances as the underdog.

+ We gawked at some of the beautiful packaging from the Hudson Valley Seed Library.

+ Deanna got buzzed on Easter candy from Krause's.

+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: gentrification, fat biking, local media, non-scientists and asshats, the old State Museum(s), the gravestone that wasn't thrown out, icicle injury, the library as goldmine, Tour de Soft Serve nominations, annoyed restaurant kitchens, sushi, coins, eight-legged wildlife, and a foggy walk.

+ Another comparison of Capital Region property tax rates.

+ Maisie asked about finding help restoring an old door.

+ A piece of Albany history went viral.

+ Jessica asked about finding a mason for brick repair job.

+ And how's that Startup Grant entry coming along?

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
