Here are a few highlights from the past short week on AOA...

+ The conversation about a taller, denser Albany continued with the Playdium redevelopment plan moving a step forward.

+ Deanna stopped The Blue Ribbon for galaktoboureko.

+ An interesting idea for 1 Monument Square.

+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: giving thanks, hugs, Santa in a liquor store, a holiday trolley with creepy clowns, a cousin of Henry James, doing it yourself, a new playground, Thanksgiving dinner out, tequila, chefs, a brewery, a meal deal, donuts, and the high point.

+ The new dog park in downtown Albany is open and it has a fun mural.

+ The makeover of whole corner of downtown Troy continued with the opening Harrison's Corner Market.

+ Paging through The Wild Birds of New York.

+ What's next for the bike share run by CDTA?

+ A look around the new Albany Damien Center.

+ And a ton of holiday-themed events around the Capital Region over the next month.
