A quick recap of the past week

Here are a few highlights from the last week on AOA:

+ We found out how you can gain the title of governor -- without actually campaigning and getting elected.

+ We unintentionally tortured Jason with pictures of some great Italian bread.

+ If you're a resident of the Capital Region, you probably have a long time to live.

+ When we think about a name that will strike fear into the heart of Google, we're not sure it's "Albany."

+ We checked out some boarded up art.

+ It's great that kids aren't afraid to ask the tough questions.

+ It turns that it does pay to ride the bus. At least, it does some of the time.

+ And we found out that Mahar's is the 99th best place in the country to have a beer before you die. And the Track is the 19th. What?

If you'd just like the whole week unfiltered, check our listing of the last seven days of AOA.

The Scoop

Albany tightened its rules for shoveling snowy sidewalks last winter -- so how'd that work out?

If winter ever gets its act together and drops more snow on us, there will be sidewalks to shovel. And shortly after that, Albany will... (more)
