Watch out for zombies.

With a bit of sunshine, little or no rain and temps hovering around 60, this could be a pretty sweet autumn weekend. Got your plans all lined up? After the jump you'll find a few things we thought might be fun.

Lewis Black
Comedian Lewis Black is doing stand up at the Palace Friday night. His infamous rants alone are worth it. If you run into him, ask him about William Kennedy. 8 pm - $29.50 and up

Zombie Walk
The Capital Region's annual march of the undead starts at 6 pm at The Linda (staging starts at 4 pm) on Saturday. You can dress up in your zombie best and join them or just grab your camera and watch them stagger up and down Central Ave.6 pm - free

Zombie Film Feast
The Zombie Walk is part of the culminates in the fourth annual Zombie Film Feast at the Linda, which starts Friday night. The two-day event opens with a gala and "special Zombie performance" by The Capitol Pride Singers Friday night. Films, the zombie walk, a brain eating competition, and the zombie prom are on Saturday.

Muckman Monster Movie Festival
On Saturday the New York State Museum will host the Muckman Monster Movie Festival in the Clark Auditorium of the Empire State Plaza. It will feature the films of Brett Piper, who makes "over-the-top science fiction epics, vintage drive-in flicks and tongue-in-the-cheek horror shockers." (Adults only.) Noon - $5

Super 8
The latest in Proctors' "giant screen" movie series is Super 8, JJ Abram's Spielberg homage about small town kids making movies, a train crash, and a creature. Sunday at 2pm and 4:30pm. $5

+ As part of its classic film Series, the NYS Writers Institute has a free screening of Ingmar Bergman's 1960s experimental film Persona tonight at UAlbany's Page Hall. 7:30 - free.

+ The Cannes favorite, We Need To Talk About Kevin, staring Tilda Swinton and John C. Reilly has its New England premiere this Saturday at MASS MoCA 8 pm - $15 /$10 for students.

+ The Spectrum is screening the London Royal Opera House presentation of Bizet's Carmen in 3D. Yes, you read that right. Opera in 3D. Sunday at noon. $15 ($12 for kids)

The Watson Project explained
David Ferrucci -- the lead scientist on IBM's Watson project -- will be at EMPAC Saturday talking about Watson and its performance on Jeopardy. Part of reunion weekend at RPI (Ferrucci's an alum) -- but it's open to the public. 9 am - free

+ It's closing weekend for Schenectady Light Opera's production of Ragtime. Tickets for Saturday's show are just about sold out. Tonight and Saturday at 8, Sunday afternoon at 2p.m $28, $22.

+ Shakespeare and Company's run of War of the Worlds, based on the Orson Wells Radio Play, continues this weekend in Lenox, MA. Tonight at 7:30, Saturday at 7:30 and 2 and Sunday at 2. $22 - $39

Angel Reapers
Dancer and choreographer Martha Clarke has created a song and dance piece based on the life of Shaker Mother Ann Lee and her quest to repress and erase sexuality from the Shaker movement. 8pm Friday at Proctors. $20-$65

Craft festival
The 2011 Northeast Fine Craft Festival includes more than 40 area makers chosen by a panel of jurors. Saturday 10am to 5pm, Sunday 11am to 5pm. $6-$7

Art for AIDS Sake
The Damien Center is hosting this reception and silent auction Saturday to benefit its services to those living with AIDS. 7pm. $35-$40

Monster Mash Bash
On Saturday The New York State Museum hosts a Halloween Festival for kids with crafts, face painting and a Halloween Parade (parades at 1 and 3 p.m.) Costumes encouraged. Saturday from 11 am-4 pm in the Adirondack Hall. $5 per child.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Saturday at The Egg: "Treasured Stories of Eric Carle," which uses "evocative music, stunning visual effects and innovative puppetry" to perform to three of Carle's famous stories (including the one about the ravenous caterpillar). 3 pm - $12

Scavenger Hunt
ASAP is throwing The Hunt For Purple October Scavenger Hunt on Saturday afternoon to benefit the Capital Region LGBT Anti-Violence Project. 3pm registration - $10

Walk a giant corn maze
Head out to Liberty Ridge Farm and meander through the 12 acre corn maze. You can even have them text you navigational clues to help you find your way. On Friday and Saturday nights the corn maze is closed for the haunted Field of Screams event. Prices range from $10 - $40.

Pick a pumpkin
Halloween will be here before you know it. Pick a pumpkin and get ready to carve.

Farmers' markets
The farmers' markets will be moving indoors before you know it -- so get out and enjoy the open air markets in Troy, Saratoga, Delmar and Schenectady.

Pick some apples
Here's a list of places where you can pick your own. It's also concord grape season. Don't forget the cider donuts!

Foliage
Fall foliage is about to peak around Albany. Take an autumn walk with a buddy and peep those leaves.

Living Walls
Take a self guided tour of the new Living Walls murals. Here's a map of the mural locations.

More road trips
Take a shopping trip to Northampton or spend 12 hours in Ulster County, Bennington, Vermont and Columbia County.

Brunch
One of the great things about the weekends are lazy mornings. over brunch or enjoy a great diner breakfast.
