A quick recap of the week

week review 2012-01-14

Here are a few highlights from the past week on AOA:

+ Soapbox: Rob shared some of his new year's "rulin's."

+ As part of a drawing for a whole bunch of stuff to get your year started off well, we asked people about their resolutions -- or what they'd like to see happen in 2012.

+ Barbara asked about where to go for seafood.

+ GlobalFoundries has started making chips at the new fab in Malta.

+ We shared some of the memorable photos from the past year on AOA.

+ Laura Hajek -- Miss Glens Falls -- doesn't seem to be your typical pageant contestant.

+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: lots about Trader Joe's, convention center implications, last call, Thacher Park, museum rules, the Berkshires, restaurant health inspections, tea, pizza launched via meatball, mind blowing posters, Montreal, socializing at the dog park, and benign neglect.

+ The EMPAC spring schedule is out.

+ There's going to be a Startup Weekend in Troy.

+ In case it wasn't clear: here's where the trees are in New York State.

+ The local supermarket field is getting crowded.

+ And here are a bunch of concerts that are coming up. Soon. That you might like to go.

If you'd just like the whole week unfiltered, check our listing of the last seven days of AOA.

Thanks to everyone who posted a comment or shared a photo or idea this week!
