A quick recap of the week

week review 2012-03-24

Here are a few highlights from the past week on AOA:

+ Soapbox: Rob was brave enough to count the 13th floor.

+ Photos from St. Patrick's Day.

+ Siobhan took a field trip to the Etsy offices in Hudson.

+ We asked Larry Sombke about what the super early warm weather means for our gardens.

+ New York has new Congressional district lines -- and the Capital Region is now part of three districts.

+ Daniel orchestrated a blind taste test of some of the Capital Region's most popular cupcakes.

+ All Good Bakers opened in their new location.

+ Proctors announced its upcoming Broadway season.

+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: St. Patrick's Day, fired up in Troy, egg season, State and Pearl, the short lives of sharrows, eating blindfolded, the Parade of Farmed Atlantic Salmon, burgers at Brown's, Chinese take-out, poutine, bathrooms, a bike shop, and signs of spring.

+ We zenned out on Rob Gierthy's bike commute video through Albany.

+ We played Bisco or Bogus?

+ A few of the items found on Craigslist this week: a search for a prom date, strong geek-fu, clairvoyance, and a sign for Troy.

+ Jules asked about a good spot for a memorial service.

+ And we celebrated AOA's 4th birthday with a party at the City Beer Hall! Here are a bunch of tweets and pics from the night. (We'll have party photos early next week.)

If you'd just like the whole week unfiltered, check our listing of the last seven days of AOA.

Thanks to everyone who posted a comment or shared a photo or idea this week!

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
