A quick recap of the week

week review 2013-03-23

Here are a few highlights from the past week on AOA:

+ We gave away tickets to Inflatable Frankenstein at EMPAC by asking: If, somewhat like Victor Frankenstein, you were creating something for the Capital Region from different parts, what would it be?

+ Daniel says the challah at New Mt. Pleasant Bakery in Schenectady is worth a special trip.

+ Jayme asked about finding a photo booth.

+ Danielle tried Ommegang's new Game of Thrones-inspired beer at a special dinner.

+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: a St. Patrick's Day moment of grace, the joy of Troy, The Single Girls Guide, an indoor water park, Schenectady, a class about eggs the longest hot dog in New England, happiness wrapped in cabbage, a competitive ice cream sandwich, brunch, the Olive Garden, portion sizes, Lydia Kulbida, an owl, and venting frustrations.

+ People in Schenectady once cycled in style.

+ Proctors announced its next slate of Broadway shows -- it includes The Book of Mormon.

+ A few of the items found on Craigslist this week: the greatest Spider-Man tattoo, bro-on-bro wrestling, a food truck, and Dutch doors.

+ Brianna asked about finding the right restaurant for a large birthday dinner for her mom.

+ Daniel checked out the new Healthy Living Market and Cafe.

+ And facing long odds, UAlbany put up a good fight in the NCAA tourament.

Thanks to everyone who posted a comment or shared an idea or photo this week!
