A quick recap of the week
Here are a few highlights from the past short holiday week on AOA:
+ We gave away spots to an invite-only Cold War Kids show from WEQX by asking: What's a local way to keep cool during the summer?
+ The annual round up of places to see fireworks (there are a still a few ahead).
+ We talked with the guy who's in charge of the fireworks at the Empire State Plaza.
+ Unusual lobsters -- which apparently are becoming less unusual -- popped up at Price Chopper.
+ You weren't imagining it: June was unusually rainy.
+ Something new were trying: in-between places. First up, from Casey: Ballston Spa.
+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: work/life, the unofficial start, Saratoga Jazz Festival, old Troy, roadside weeds, swapping, corned beef, cuts of meat, 62 Beekman, a tap list, Mezze, ice cream sandwiches, slippery peas and sultry meats, the Ugly Rooster, Bender melons, an excellent gift, a milestone, and a relationship ended.
+ Someone new will be keeping the castle in Amsterdam.
+ And the summer so far, in pie chart form.
Here's the whole week all lined up.
Thanks to everyone who posted a comment or shared an idea or photo this week!

Say Something!
We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
