A quick recap of the week

week review 2014-07-12

Here are a few highlights from the past week on AOA:

Hudson Week!

+ Shopping Hudson with Jess and Kaitlin

+ Eating in Hudson: 5-10-15-20

+ A perspective on Hudson's renaissance

+ Architecture gawking in Hudson

+ Growing from Hudson: Modern Farmer

+ How you get there matters, because getting there is half the fun

+ And We gave away tickets to the Rail, River, Hudson tour by asking: What's your favorite summer day trip, and why?

+ R asked for some quick suggestions about stuff to do in Kingston.

+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: Hoffman's Playland, fireworks, all the things, snake chasing, Bear Swamp, Black Cat Cafe, a barley burger, Albany New Things, 10 changes, summer enrichment, a bell, and Ethelda Bleibtrey.

+ We scanned the summaries of the Capital Region casino license applications.

+ Eric asked about finding a good store for stationery and pens.

+ A map of breweries (existing and planned) in New York State.

+ We talked with Jasmine Shea, whose local act of protest against the Supreme Court's Hobby Lobby decision got national attention.

+ And absolutely, positively, without a doubt true rankings of places.

Here's the whole week all lined up.

Thanks to everyone who posted a comment or shared an idea or photo this week!
