A quick recap of the week

week review 2015-04-04

Here are a few highlights from the past week on AOA:

+ We gave away tickets to Monarchs and Moonshine at miSci by asking: What are you looking forward to this spring?

+ The music lineup for this year's Tulip Festival is out.

+ Deanna recommended the ravioli from Ragonese Imports in Albany.

+ A look at monthly house payments for a bunch of places around the Capital Region.

+ The city of Albany is aiming to start another food truck pilot program in May.

+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: bikes and buses, trolleys, 1/2 cent, Jumpin' Jack's, a day in the life of a pastry chef, Saratoga Winery, Alexis Diner, pizza, taverns, inspiration from Girl Scout Cookies, Albany to Brooklyn, the Cohoes Falls, and plastic treasure.

+ Lauren searched for a proper cappuccino.

+ Could the taxi app company Lyft eventually be on its way to Albany?

+ A quick look around this year's Canstruction exhibit at the State Museum.

+ And Friday night was the deadline for AOA Startup Grant entries. A bunch of them have already been posted, and we'll be posting more over the weekend. Voting starts Monday.

Also: The finalists' presentations to judges will be open to the public this year -- it's free to attend.

Thanks to everyone who posted a comment or shared an idea or photo this week!
