As Annie Lennox once said, "Here comes the rain again."

We're looking at as much as two inches before the weekend is out, but Sunday is looking gorgeous. So, on this weekend's list of stuff to do you'll find a nice indoor/outdoor mix.

Pick your favorites, or throw some other ideas into the mix.

Art Night
Tonight is Art Night in Schenectady. The Schenectady Museum is open free of charge, shops and galleries are open late with music and performances and Proctor's is hosting several art exhibits including work by Ken Ragsdale and an exhibit on the art of food photography.

Max Weinberg
Conan's former band leader and long time Springsteen drummer Max Weinberg brings his 15 piece big band to Universal Preservation Hall in Saratoga. $48

Say it. Say it right. Chowdah
Just in time for soup season, Saturday is the annual Chowder Festival in Troy.
Sample chowders from 30 Capital Region restaurants on the 400 block of River Street. It's $1 per sample and you can vote for your favorites. 11-4 or until he chowders run out.

Supersonic Swing Weekend
Dance all weekend or pick the session you want. It starts tonight at 8:30 at the Albany Elks Club (25 South Allen St.) with the Peter Davis Quartet, The Boilermakers and Doc Scanlon's Hot 4 tonight at the Albany Elks Lodge (25 South Allen St.). 8:30 (Free lesson at 7:30). Workshops and Dances all Day Saturday and Sunday at RPI.

Billy Wilder Retrospective
Alec Baldwin and Turner Classic Movies host Robert Osborne will be at Mass MoCA on Saturday night for a Billy Wilder Retrospective. They'll be screening clips from Some Like it Hot, Sabrina, Sunset Boulevard and other Wilder Classics and talking about his life and career. The retrospective starts at 8. It's $20. If you get there early, you can check out the museum. The Leonard Nimoy "Secret Selves" exhibit is still there and the Material World and Sol LeWitt exhibits are interesting.

The Shoe Show
The Perfect Fit: Shoes Tell Stories opens this weekend at the Albany Institute of History and Art. The shoes from the 18th to 20th centuries reveal issues of gender, history, sexuality, class, race and culture. On Saturday there's a Family Day Shoe Festival from 1-4, with tours performances puppet shows and kids art projects.

Zombie Roller Derby
What's better than roller derby? Zombie roller derby! The Hellions of Troy are back this Saturday night at Rollarama Skating Center in Schenectady with a zombies vs. vampires themed bout. Doors open at 7, first whistle is at 8. $10 in advance, $12 at door

Dodgeball
Saturday from 9-5 there's a dodgeball tournament at the Washington Avenue Armory. Come play or just watch. $200 per team.

The Capitol Steps
Political satirists The Capitol Steps will be at Proctors on Saturday night at 8.

Polkas and pierogi
The Polish Community Center on Washington Ave Extension hosts its 25th annual Polish Harvest Festival this Sunday from noon until 8. Polish foods, music, dancing and games. $5, kids under 12 are free.

SPAM
Scooter Pie at Midnight's rock 'n roll burlesque show returns to Valentine's on Saturday night/Sunday morning at, yep, midnight.

Schenectady Festivals
It's kind of all about the festivals in Schenectady this weekend. On Friday there's the Art Walk, and on Saturday there are festivals on Jay Street and Upper Union.
Jayfest
Music, equestrian shows, dancers, vendors, crafts and kids stuff on Jay Street in Schenectady on Saturday. Free.
Annual Harvest Fest & Art Show
Saturday from 10-6 on Upper Union Street. There's an art show, pony rides, rock climbing, sidewalk sales, music and more. Free.

Laurie Anderson: Delusion
This show is selling out fast. Laurie Anderson is atEMPAC tonight (a few seats left)and Saturday (Sold Out) with a show she produced in residency there last year. Delusion is a meditation on life and language by way of music, video, and storytelling.

Reasons to Be Pretty
Saratoga's Home Made Theater continues its Shuster Play Reading Series on Sunday with a reading of Neil Labute's Tony and Drama Desk nominee, Reasons to be Pretty. 3 pm. Free.

Baaaa
Road trip out to the Dutchess County Fair Grounds for the New York State Sheep and Wool Festival. Saturday and Sunday there will be fiber, crafts, frisbee dogs, a haunted house and kids stuff.

Haunted Hay Rides
All weekend Schauber Stables in Ballston Lake is doing Haunted Hayrides. 7-10PM $8

Corn mazes
If you want to find your way, you have a few options. Kettle Farms in Hoosick Falls says it has the largest corn maze on the East Coast (it's 22 acres). Liberty Ridge Farm in Schatigcoke has a "Spooky Corn Maze." And Indian House Farm in Princetown has its "Field of Screams" maze. Be sure to check for times and prices before heading out.

Go chasing waterfalls
All the rain we've had recently should mean pretty good flows for local waterfalls. Here are a few good ones to check out.

Look at leaves
It's that time. The foliage is ready for its closeup -- so go look at some leaves. Here are a few of our favorite autumn walks.

Spend time somewhere else
Spend 12 hours Ulster or Schoharie county. Or head over to Bennington. Or you could do a little fall shopping in Northampton or Woodstock. And if you're up near Glens Falls, swing through town.

Monster bass master Victor Wooten returns to the Egg Saturday night. This is ALWAYS a show not to be missed.

The Albany Bicycle Coalition is sponsoring a bicycle tour of the historic Erie Canal in Albany County.

Where is the Erie canal? What’s still there? Where was the new, enlarged canal? Can you really ride your bicycle through a canal lock? How did the canal boats get from Troy to the canal? How does a lock work? This and more!

We took the day trip to Bennington yesterday and had a lot of fun! The trees were beautiful and the town has a lot of charm to it.

You guys should plan a trip to Stockbridge Mass. It is a nice little town with a lot to do.
