A quick recap of the week

week review 2017-10-22

Here are a few highlights from the past short week on AOA...

+ We got an work-in-progress look at the three new murals going up in downtown Albany.

+ Christina asked about finding an interior designer.

+ Deanna stopped at the Chuck Wagon Diner.

+ Shareable reminders of old shops in Troy.

+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: "Me too" stories, seeing a visit in a different light, the miracle of art, the truth in a post-truth world, the haunted Capitol, Eleanor Roosevelt, photographic family history, Cypress Pond, Mohawk Club Pale Dry Ginger Ale, lunch along the upper Hudson, dinner in Ballston Spa, dessert, and things that are OK.

+ A roundup of upcoming Halloween costume parties for adults.

+ Greg wrote about the experience of becoming a "bike person" and riding around Albany.

+ Here's a snapshot of the Capital Region pitched for the Amazon headquarters.

+ More exciting tales from the Albany planning board!

+ One of those tales is about a new bar planned for next to The Spectrum.

Here's the whole week in one place.

Thanks to everyone who posted a comment or shared an idea this week!
