A quick recap of the week

week in review 2008-9-20

Here are some highlights from the past week on AOA:

+ Amy, AOA's new shopping person, had some tips on how to approach shopping for deals at Goodwill.

+ After Albany Jane reported that the SoCo Music Experience in Altamont was kind of a downer, a whole discussion followed.

+ We checked out the sights -- and sounds -- at the Berkshire Bird Paradise.

+ Jessica told us about the Cherry Hill murder tour.

+ Apparently scary can be slutty.

+ We rolled our cart down the aisles of the surprising food section at Target.

+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: biking to work, online dating, vegan sisters, PANKS, and a culinary mix tape.

+ We found that Elmo is planning to take over Albany. Or, at least, just occupy for it a while.

+ Amy pointed out five fall fashion trends popping up in local stores.

+ We responded to some of the most common comments from the AOA survey.

+ Jess gave us the scoop on some local cheesemaking classes.

+ Eat this (right now): the BLT at Lakeside Farms.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
