A quick recap of the past week

week in review composite 2008-8-02

Buddhapesto on bread, horse on Broadway, another thing stuck on Tyree's head, burgers on the car.

Here are some highlights from the past week on AOA:

+ We got the scoop on the new Albany Rickshaw.

+ It's a car. It's a barbecue. It's the Carbeque.

+ The Saratoga hot dog saga seems to have had a happy ending.

+ Meg asked if anyone had some tips about picking a local internet service provider.

+ Eat this: Buddhapesto.

+ Jessica gave us the rundown on local pick-your-own places for berries.

+ The Giants' David Tyree -- yeah, the guy who made that amazing catch in the Super Bowl -- admitted that Albany might not be on the team's list of most-favored destinations.

+ Albany just can't get enough of John Mayer.

+ We picked out some interesting bits from the New York State payroll database that debuted this week.

+ We shared the sidewalk with a miniature horse on Broadway in Saratoga.

+ Saratoga Chips this week: The Big Red Spring, Breakfast with a history, Birth of a bank, The Canfield Casino's house rules, It's Batcheller, not Bachelor.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
