A quick recap of the week
Here are a few highlights from the past week on AOA:
+ We gave away tickets to Sleepwalk with Me at the Spectrum by asking: What's your surreal dream for the Capital Region?
+ Want ad: bigfoot researcher.
+ If ever you wondered how many people would stand in line for hours for free crab, now you have an answer.
+ The Place Beyond the Pines debuted in Toronto -- here's a quick scan of the early reviews. (One of them was... not kind to Schenectady.)
+ The Palace's classic movie series slate is out.
+ Political yard sign design primary! We got three accomplished local designers to critique a bunch of campaign signs. (Don't forget part two.)
+ We put together a sampler of cooking classes that are coming up.
+ We gave away tickets to an upcoming wild game dinner at City Beer Hall by asking: What's your favorite place to take in the fall foliage?
+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: being lucky, parking tickets, parks that never were, traveling on the Hudson, daily sightings, an unexpected compliment, the Washington County Cheese Tour, the wine and food fest, a special little place in Saratoga, a pilgrimage to the Toll Gate, disappointing butcher experiences, IPA, Jake Moon, volunteering, a landing strip, a cobble, and 13.1.
+ There will soon be a new UAlbany president.
+ Anonymous Soon-to-Be Father and his wife asked about finding a good obstetrician. There were some very high quality answers.
+ A few of the items found on Craigslist this week: cats using Craigslist, thickness, German-American relations, and rabbits (two types).
+ The fall slate for EMPAC is out. It is typically atypical.
+ Here's a quick scan of this week's primary election results.
+ Casey told us about how people trying to get the state all hopped up again.

Say Something!
We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
