A quick recap of the week
Here are a few highlights from the past week on AOA:
+ Photos from Occupy Albany, and some video, too.
+ Sebastien shared some photos from this year's zombie walk.
+ The supermarket war escalated as Price Chopper sued ShopRite.
+ Jen asked about who to call for furnace maintenance.
+ A few UAlbany students (allegedly) showed some entrepreneurial initiative in their desire to party.
+ We took a look at the distribution of household incomes in the Capital Region (you know you want to see where you rank).
+ Abby asked about good gift-pass ideas for families -- that would also be interesting for adults. (We're still looking for a few suggestions.)
+ It snowed. People had a few thoughts about that.
+ Speaking of snow -- we looked at the earliest, latest, least, and most snow records for the Capital Region.
+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: Halloween, unintentional scares, therapists, the Riggis, the truth about upholsterers, a burger endorsement, hot dogs, beautiful pizza, Provence, being literal, restaurant servers, rainbow construction, coldplaining, and things that set off detectors in the night.
+ Nick and Erin asked about the best sushi place in the Capital Region -- and people had a lot of suggestions.
+ We talked with Orian and Emily, two RPI students who have started a swing dancing studio in Troy.
+ Mark asked about contractors to fix a broken or warped sidewalk.
+ A few of the items found on Craigslist this week: a request for the intelligent women of Troy, flirting at court, a request for focus, and a deer head.
+ Emily came across "wine" at Walmart. It was more like cheese food.
+ All hail Mr. Dave!
+ We asked a bunch of people about how to survive the zombie apocalypse in the Capital Region.
+ And believe or not -- the Icy, Snowy Apocalypse Meter made its first appearance of the season.

I clicked on the link to see pictures of the Zombie Walk, but was instead greeted with the horde from Occupy Albany... is that AOA trying to make a political statement? hahaha!
Editors: Ha. No, just a copy/paste mishap. Thanks for the heads-up. Fixed.
