A quick recap of the week

week review 2012-05-26

Here are a few highlights from the past week on AOA:

+ Soapbox: Martin talked some of the Capital Region experiences he wants to share with his newborn son.

+ What was up in the Neighborhood this week: moving to Albany, bike commuting, the 1880s, the Frear Building, magnifique with a side of sacrebleu, the escarpment, moths, lobster, sliders, cheating, downtown Saratoga, running uphill, and a remembrance.

+ Sean asked about how to move a piano.

+ The Nature Conservancy is closing public access to Barberville Falls this summer because of unruliness.

+ A few of the items found on Craigslist this week: perfect visual stimulation, vibe gathering, Northway distraction, and lambs.

+ Troy is getting a chance to make the case that it's greater than Albany during an AOA Albany Aqua Duck Tour. (There are a just a few tickets remaining.)

+ The judges in the AOA/Sunmark Startup Grant contest heard presentations from the finalists -- and the winner is...
